Nepali Congress leader Pradip Poudel has stated that the fact that the younger generation has risen to the level of leadership in the party following the 14th general convention is a positive development.
When speaking at a program organized by Poudel, who is also a candidate for the position of General Secretary at the party’s 14th General Convention, he stated that the people have a great deal of confidence in the younger generation and that it was beneficial for them to be placed under the leadership of the party.
“It’s only natural to come up short in an election. What I was looking for has occurred within the party, and I’ve found it. The youth has risen to the position of executive director of the party. Firstly, I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the friends who have stepped up to the plate and taken on the burden “he explained.
Declaring that numerous changes are required within the party, Poudel expressed the opinion that Congress should proceed in a systematic manner in accordance with the rules and regulations in place. He asserted that the party should move forward by organizing all of its constituents.
He stated that competition should take place within the party’s policy and system, rather than between individual candidates. Within the party, he asserted, there was a pressing need for general unity. Asserting that the current mature leadership has propelled the youth forward, he also expressed gratitude to President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba for his efforts.
