The government wants more information about the COVID vaccines offered by Russia.

In to ’s offer to the -19 vaccine to Nepal, the government has written to the Russian Investment Fund (RDIF) requesting vaccine information.

When the ‘Omicron’ of COVID-19 is of concern at the moment, the government thanked Russia for the offer and requested detailed information about the offered vaccine.

According to Dr Roshan Pokhrel, the letter was recently sent to Fund CEO Kirill Alexandrovich Dmitriev.

According to the letter, the government requested the documents offered by the vaccine based on the recommendation of the Department of Health Sciences’ Immunisation Advisory Committee (NAIC). Following receipt of the documents, the government stated that it would propose to the NAIC additional for the import of Russia-manufactured vaccines.

“The government imports vaccine manufactured by various companies and listed on the World Health Organization’s emergency use (EUL).” For the being, the COVID-19 situation in Nepal is under control, and we hope that the situation will remain under globally,” the document adds.
